Key Community Group is proud to support local young people to pursue their goals, build confidence, and strengthen their connection to community. Bobby, is a passionate and driven 15-year-old athlete, who represents the Valley Braves U18 representative basketball team.

Bobby has been playing basketball since the age of seven and believes strongly in the power of sport to create positive change. For him, basketball is about more than competition – it’s about belonging, mental health, and having positive mentors and role models in your life.

“Sport should be accessible to everyone because of the important role it plays in supporting our mental health, having something to belong to, and the opportunity to have more mentors in our lives,” Bobby said.

Bobby is also committed to giving back to others, regularly coaching junior players, refereeing local games, and volunteering as a Peer Support Leader at school. His dedication to teamwork and leadership was highlighted last year when his school team achieved an incredible milestone, winning the gold medal at the Australian School Championships on the Gold Coast.

Key Community Group is proud to stand behind Bobby and help create opportunities for young people to thrive both on and off the court.
