Momentum Youth Housing

Momentum Youth Housing provides direct support to young people aged 17–25 who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness. Our aim is to help young people find and maintain safe, stable accommodation they can call home, while building the confidence and skills needed for independent living.

At Momentum, we believe no young person should have to experience homelessness or housing insecurity. We work alongside young people to improve their health and wellbeing, strengthen life skills, and create positive pathways for the future.

Momentum supports young people to:

• Find and maintain safe and stable accommodation
• Build independent living and life skills
• Strengthen positive relationships with family and friends
• Work towards personal goals and future aspirations
• Overcome challenges related to drugs and alcohol
• Connect with education, training, and employment opportunities
• Develop positive relationships with landlords, real estate agents, and Centrelink
• Access and sustain private rental accommodation

Our approach is person-centred, strengths-based, and focused on empowering young people to achieve long-term stability and independence.
