About the roles:

We are currently seeking a versatile and adaptable individual or individuals to join our Finance Department as an Accounts Officer and / or Payroll Officer. At Key, we understand the importance of work-life balance and are committed to accommodating the needs of the right applicant(s), whether that involves part-time hours or job-sharing arrangements. A full-time employment opportunity may be considered for someone who has experience across both Accounts and Payroll functions.


Accounts Officer Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and reconciliation of income.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports and budgets.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborating with other stakeholders to resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries.
  • Supporting the annual audit process.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of accounting processes and procedures.

Payroll Officer Responsibilities – must have availability on Tuesday and Wednesday:

  • Processing payroll accurately and on-time, ensuring compliance with relevant industrial instruments and company policies.
  • Maintaining employee payroll records and ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Handling payroll-related inquiries and resolving any issues or discrepancies.
  • Preparing payroll reports for the CFO.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll processes and procedures.

About You: 

We are seeking extraordinary individuals ready to make a genuine impact! To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Previous experience in accounting and / or payroll administration (formal qualification desirable).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • MYOB and / or MYP experience is desirable.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity in handling financial and payroll information.

Essential Requirements: 

You will also need, or be willing to promptly obtain:

  • A valid Driver Licence.
  • A Police Check.
  • An NDIS Worker Check.
  • A Working with Children Check.
